THE BOARD
The Academy’s work is steered by the Academy Board, which is chaired by Producer Iain Smith (The A-Team, Children of Men) and includes representatives from relevant unions, guilds and trade associations, as well as private companies.
The role of the Academy Management Board is to ensure that the Academy has the resources to run effectively as well as to make sure that priority needs for the industry are being communicated and responded to. The Academy, via the Academy Management Board, will report to the Film ITB on a regular basis.
“The Academy is going to be a lynchpin for the industry with the long-term vision to keep the UK’s behind-the-scenes talent second to none.”
